Bonnaroo, the Tennesse arts and music festival, has postponed next year's event for a third time, and will now take place in September.

Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival was originally set to go ahead this month after being pushed back from June this year because of the coronavirus pandemic. The event was then called off completely in 2020, with a 2021 festival planned for June next year. Yesterday (29 September) organisers confirmed that the 2021 event has been delayed once again, this time until September 2021.

Organisers have encouraged people who have 2021 tickets to keep hold of them for the new dates. They also added that "refunds will be available for those who cannot attend".

Tame Impala, Tool, Lizzo, Vampire Weekend, Lana Del Rey, the 1975, Run the Jewels, Brittany Howard and more were due to play Bonnaroo 2020. The first artists for next year's festival are yet to be announced.

Bonnaroo 2021 takes placefrom 2-5 September 2021 in Manchester, Tennessee. Visit bonnaroo.com for more information.
