Bon Iver's 10th anniversary reissue of second album will feature essay by Phoebe Bridgers
Bon Iver have announced a 10th anniversary reissue of their second album Bon Iver, Bon Iver, which will feature a personal essay from longtime fan Phoebe Bridgers.
In June, Bon Iver's second album turned 10, and to mark the anniversary, they've announced a limited edition reissue of the record, as well as two shows at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California for October.
The Bon Iver, Bon Iver (10th Anniversary Edition) will include five songs from their AIR Studios session, which saw Justin Vernon and Sean Carey perform "Hinnom, TX", "Wash.", "Beth/Rest", Blood Bank’s "Babys" and a cover of Bonnie Raitt’s "I Can’t Make You Love Me" as a duo, with just grand pianos and vocals.
On top of featuring the AIR Studios session tracks, Bon Iver, Bon Iver (10th Anniversary Edition) will also feature a personal essay from Phoebe Bridgers.
This very special edition features all original tracks + five songs from our AIR Studios session, a blind embossed, white-on-white version by @3TC3T3RA of original cover art, and a personal essay from @phoebe_bridgers.
