Bon Iver drop first music video in seven years for "Naeem"
Bon Iver have dropped their first official music video since 2012, for their i,i track "Naeem".
"Naeem" is the first music video from the group since their 2012 visual for Bon Iver track "Beth/Rest".
Bon Iver have stuck to lyric videos since 2012, including the release of their 22, A Million singles.
The new video arrives hot on the heels of Bon Iver's four Grammy nominations for 2020, including Album Of The Year, Record Of The Year ("Hey Ma"), Best Alternative Music Album, and Best Recording Package.
Speaking about the visual, director AG Rojas explains, ""Naeem" is concerned with the potential for intergenerational healing, and how we choose to engage with that potential. All my admiration and love to Cynthia Rodriguez and her child Azul who brought this idea to life, and to Bon Iver for amplifying it."
