Boiler Room set to stream live sets from artists' homes amid coronavirus outbreak
Boiler Room have revealed that they're cancelling their forthcoming events and setting up livestreams from artists' homes due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Yesterday (18 March), Boiler Room announced that they've cancelled "40 upcoming shows between now and the summer" to protect "artists and audiences as well as all the BTS crew, from sound engineers to door staff from camera operators to security."
The event cancellations also include their "first ever festival in Johannesburg which will be rescheduled for later in the year."

In light of the coronavirus pandemic, Boiler Room have also announced a new live series "under lockdown and isolation". Boiler Room adds, "These broadcasts will stream from artists' homes and private spaces, direct to our audience and without the need for interaction with production teams - as we practice social distancing to remove risk from our programming."
The company also reveals that they'll set up a donation option for each show. They write, "This week, funds raised are going to Global FoodBanking Network."
