Boards of Canada release surprise Record Store Day vinyl

There were tons of things to spend your money on on Saturday’s leg of the annual Record Store Day, but one thing some fans might not have known was on sale is this: a brand new 12″ release from Boards of Canada.

The Scottish duo put out this surprise vinyl, called —— / —— / —— / XXXXXX / —— / —— and confirmed by Pitchfork to be an official Warp offering. It features 20 seconds of music, and a whole lot of silence.
