Blur detail New World Towers documentary, share first trailer
Blur have announced a new documentary called New World Towers, and its gonna be in cinemas on 2 December.
The film will be aired "at selected Picturehouse, Odeon, Cineworld and Vue cinemas at cities around the UK including London, Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool and Edinburgh." There is also set to be an as-yet-unannounced international release.
New World Towers will follow Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Dave Rowntree, and Alex James across the past couple of years. It sees them creating their first record in 16 years, The Magic Whip, in Hong Kong, and performing shows across the planet. As well as footage of them performing in intimate venues and in front of tens of thousands of people the doc also looks to the future of Blur, and examines the present relationships between the members.
New World Towers is out on 2 December. Blur's comeback record The Magic Whip is out now.
