It looks like Blood Orange is set to release some new noises this week.
Blood Orange's Dev Hynes has shared a page of lyrics titled "Sandra's Smile" on Facebook, with Blood Orange written in the corner, and with a caption reading: "Sandra's Smile. Tuesday 27th October."
Whether this is the first taste of a new album remains to be seen, but Hynes has been much more active as Blood Orange over the past few months, dropping his "Delancey" demo in February, releasing a 46-minute composition back in May, and then a new track called "Do You See My Skin Through The Flames?" in July.
Any new official release will follow Hynes' lauded 2013 LP Cupid Deluxe.
