Blondie have discovered and released the original demo of their Autoamerican track "Go Through It", which is titled "I Love You Honey, Give Me A Beer" and will feature on the upcoming box set Blondie: Against The Odds 1974-1982.

The "I Love You Honey, Give Me A Beer" demo was tracked in 1980, and according to a press release it was possibly written for Alan Rudolph's Roadie film.

"I Love You Honey, Give Me A Beer" is the original version of what would become "Go Through It", which featured on Blondie's 1980 album Autoamerican.

The demo will feature on the upcoming box set Blondie: Against The Odds 1974-1982, which will include remastered versions of all of Blondie’s first six studio albums, as well as 36 previously unissued recordings, extensive liner notes, commentary from all seven original band members, essays, 120-page illustrated discography, photographs and more.

"I Love You Honey, Give Me A Beer" is out now. Blondie's Blondie: Against The Odds 1974-1982 box set will arrive via UMe and The Numero Group on 26 August, and is available to pre-order now.
