Bloc Party have revealed that they will be releasing their upcoming fourth album, succinctly entitled Four.
Four will be released on Les Savy Fav-imprint Frenchkiss Records on 20 August after writing took place in New York earlier in the year.
Bloc Party have also unveiled an album teaser, the video of which you can view at the bottom of the page. And Kele expanded a bit about the new record on his blog:
“we have just finished mixing our new record. i am very proud of it. it is the best thing that we have ever done and finishing this record has taken us on quite a journey.”
We’re just hoping it’ll be somewhere near as good as their first two releases and nowhere as bad as their last one, Intimacy.
