Black Deer Festival opened its gates yesterday for the first day of its 2022 edition – to record high temperatures and an incredible headline set from James.
Jake Bugg played on the main stage – wooing everyone in with classics such as "Lighting Bolt" – before the Manchester legends brought the house down with a set that closed with classic "Sit Down". Watch a performance of "Getting Away With It" and "Come Home" from last night's set below.
The festival continues tonight with headliners Wilco and The Waterboys.
