Björk remarked upon the divisive George Zimmerman trial at a gig in Toronto this week, dedicating her track ‘Declare The Independence’ to the memory of the late Trayvon Martin.
The Icelandic musician is one of many artists who have reacted to the controversial trial in recent days, with Bruce Springsteen dedicating ‘American Skin’ to Martin at a recent concert.
Stevie Wonder has gone even further vowed not to play in Florida until they abolish the Stand your ground law, while Beyonce stopped a show for a minute silence for Martin.
