Bishop Nehru turns up the voltage for new single "EMPEROR"
Bishop Nehru flexes on new single "EMPEROR", which features on his forthcoming LP Nehruvia: My Disregarded Thoughts.
"EMPEROR" lands after DJ Premier collab "Too Lost" which arrived at the beginning of the month, and is written and produced by Nehru himself.
He says of the new offering, ""EMPEROR" was just a track that I was making specifically to have fun at lives shows. I wanted to be able to have an energetic song everyone could just feel free to. When i was in the process of creating it the main thing I was thinking about after I finished the beat was ‘Wow this could be amazing if performed in a stadium’."
My Disregarded Thoughts is Nehru's first album since releasing his Nehruvian Tuesdays: Vol, 1 mixtape last month, and is split into two acts - The Abyss and The Escape - the former includes Nehru's darker tracks, while The Escape presents Nehru's more upbeat and bright offerings.
"EMPEROR" also arrives with news of his UK/European tour postponement following the coronavirus pandemic. Rescheduled dates are expected to be announced soon.
