Bill Callahan to release dub version of album Dream River
You may remember Bill Callahan’s unexpected experiments with dub a few months back. Well, “Expanding Dub” wasn’t a one-off it seems, with a whole album of dub versions on the way.
The former Smog singer is set to release Have Fun With God on 21 January 2014, consisting of alternate dubbed recordings of all the tracks from recent album, Dream River.
“Dub is a spiritual, abstract, visceral, mystical thing,” a press release reads. “Finite and Infinite at the same time. Deeply rooted in the earth and embracing outer space.”
