
Bikini Kill cancel UK and European shows due to COVID and "other circumstances beyond our control"
Bikini Kill have announced the cancellation of their UK and European shows in June due to a band member testing positive for COVID and "other circumstances beyond our control".
Yesterday (31 May) afternoon Primavera Sound made some last-minute changes to the 2022 Barcelona line-up, which included news that Bikini Kill willl no longer play the festival.
Shortly after, Bikini Kill shared their own update on Twitter, cancelling all their UK and European shows in June. They wrote, "We're extremely sorry to announce that due to a band member testing positive for covid & other circumstances beyond our control we will be canceling our upcoming appearance at Primavera Festival and our June EU/UK shows. Please contact the venues for any q's regarding refunds."
