Biig Piig returns with first single of 2021 "Cuenta Lo"
Biig Piig is back with her first single of 2021 "Cuenta Lo", which sees the artist pay tribute to her Spanish roots.
"Cuenta Lo" marks Biig Piig's first outing since November 2020's "Feels Right", and is accompanied by a video directed by Nono and Rodrigo Inada that sees Biig Piig as a poker dealer, a job she did actually have.
Biig Piig says "Cuenta Lo" is "an alter-ego-driven song about money, sex and power. The video is based around when I used to be a poker dealer, and it’s about the coldness and greediness that money can bring in all industries...including music."
The singer/songwriter is yet to follow up her 2019 EP No Place for Patience, Vol. 3.
As well as sharing her own music in 2020, Biig Piig also released the No Smoke Vol.2 mixtape with NiNE8 collective in September.
