Beyoncé to curate classes for Peloton after signing multi-year partnership
Beyoncé has signed a multi-year partnership with fitness company Peloton, and will help curate classes with her own music for the Peloton's subscription service.
Peloton have signed a multi-year partnership with Beyoncé after the company revealed she's one of most requested artists to feature in Peloton's playlists.
The multi-year deal will see Beyoncé help curate new classes soundtracked by her music.
Although Peloton are yet to provide more details on Beyoncé's involvement, some Beyoncé-themed classes have already begun, with a variety of indoor cycling, running, strength, bootcamp, yoga and meditation classes happening this week.
The Verge reports that Beyoncé's first curated classes will be based around the Homecoming season, an annual US tradition celebrated by historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs).
Beyoncé said of the partnership, "Peloton and I both believe that the power of music can help uplift, motivate and inspire those on their fitness journeys."
She added, "I've been a Peloton member for several years, and I'm excited to partner with a company that helps people, young and old, be the best versions of themselves, in an innovative and adaptable way."
The classes can be accessed through Peloton’s Bike, Bike+, Tread, and Tread+ devices, and the company are also offering new members a 30-day free app trial, even if you don't have any Peloton equipment.
