Beyoncé forced to cancel Coachella headline performance on medical advice
Beyoncé has been forced to pull out of her Coachella headline slot on her doctor's orders - but she will be back to headline the festival in 2018.
The icon - pregnant with twins - has been advised to dial back her schedule.
"Following advice of doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule, Beyonce has made the decision to forgo performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival," a statement from Coachella's organisers says. "However, Goldenvoice and Parkwood are pleased to confirm that she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival. Thank you for your understanding."
Coachella is yet to confirm who'll join Kendrick Lamar and Radiohead in headlining the festival. Bon Iver and Future are two of the bigger names on the day formerly featuring Bey, but it's a big ask to bump them up to one of the biggest stages in the music world.
