Benjamin Francis Leftwich shares free cover of Foals' "Blue Blood"
Benjamin Francis Leftwich is sharing his bewitching rendition of "Blue Blood" by Foals as a free download.
The Yorkshire singer/songwriter recorded the track during his recent UK tour, and arrives ahead of his upcoming LP After The Rain.
Leftwich's take on the angular Foals track is unsurprisingly softer, with gently picked melodies and reverb-soaked vocals taking the place of harsh rhythms and faraway grandeur. It's a million times more intimate, and strikes deep with ease.
After The Rain is out 19 August on Dirty Hit. The first single is called "Mayflies".
