Ben Khan announces new EP with lead track "Lightspeed"
Ben Khan is back with news of his forthcoming EP Crimson (GEN2), and has unveiled new song "Lightspeed" as the lead outing.
"Lightspeed" is the first taster of Khan's upcoming three-track EP, which will follow July's Crimson (GEN1) EP.
Khan wrote of the song on Instagram over the weekend, "This was pretty much a one take track, didn’t want to re-record this one and take away the original rawness of it. This year I used Sunday’s to rest / reset more than before - I try to connect to ideas larger than me and solitude through music on a Sunday. I see this track as a part of that process for me."
Crimson (GEN2) is the second instalment of his EP trilogy, with each EP inspired by his time in the cities of Tokyo, LA and London. Crimson (GEN2) was written in LA.
