Ben Gibbard shares album art, streams new solo track

Death Cab For Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard will release his debut solo album in October, revealing the album cover and a new track in the meantime.

Former Lives is scheduled for a 16 October release on Barsuk, with new track ‘Ichiro’s Theme’ streaming via Soundcloud below.

It’s unknown whether this new cut, written about professional baseball player Ichiro Suzuki, will feature on the full-length, but it gives us a taster of what to expect either way.
