It seems that Øya Festival has let Beck's cat out the bag - he's gonna drop a new album before the summer.
On the Norwegian festival's website, there's a biography of Beck, with this interesting little line sneakily dropped in:
"We are always looking forward to hearing new music from Beck. He is currently working on a new album which will be out before the summer."
DIY report that it has "been recorded with Pharrell Williams and other collaborators, and it’s set to be a departure from the folk-acoustic release Morning Phase."
Morning Phase is Beck's latest full-length offering, and it was released last year to acclaim.
