Beabadoobee previews new album with third outing "Lovesong"

Beabadoobee has released new track "Lovesong" as the third taster of her upcoming second album Beatopia.

"Lovesong" is, according to Beabadoobee, a "song that I had bits written for since my second ever EP. The chorus was actually already written since Loveworm, I just didn't have any chords to sing it with. It's actually written in a really strange tuning that I forget. And yeah, it's just another love song, another sweet love song. It was one of the last songs I recorded for Beatopia."

The new track will feature on Beatopia with earlier singles "See You Soon" and "Talk".

Beatopia will follow her 2020 debut album Fake It Flowers, and will feature a collaboration with PinkPantheress.

"Lovesong" is out now. Beabadoobee's Beatopia album will arrive via Dirty Hit on 15 July, and is available to pre-order now. She'll play London's O2 Academy Brixton on 19 October. Head to beabadoobee.com for tickets.
