Bauhaus frontman, Peter Murphy has reportedly been arrested after a hit-and-run incident which occurred on Saturday afternoon (16 March).
Murphy, who recently announced he would tour playing Bauhaus material later this year to mark the group’s 35th anniversary, was detained in Los Angeles after police also found amphetamines in his possession.
The L.A. Times report that the singer injured a driver in a head-on collision, before fleeing the scene. Murphy was later followed by a truck driver who was worried he’d cause other drivers similar harm.
Murphy is currently in custody awaiting a $500,000 bail.
