Bath's legendary Moles Club to reopen in November following severe fire
Bath venue Moles Club is set to reopen on 27 November, over a year since it closed following a devastating fire.
The club was essentially destroyed in the electrical blaze and subsequent flooding when firefighters battled to keep the flames under control. Now refurbished, they're beginning to line up gigs once more - Spectres and Jesuits are already on the bill.
It's garnered a reputation as a kind of new music barometer, with many acts, from Ed Sheeran to Radiohead, and Laura Marling to Oasis, playing the club before hitting it big. King Crimson recorded a live record at the venue back in the '80s.
Moles also has a record studio above, with bands like Portishead, The Horrors, and Maximo Park among their previous clients.
