Bat For Lashes' new single "Joe's Dream" is endlessly beautiful
Bat For Lashes has revealed "Joe's Dream", a brand new taste of her new album due to be released next month.
This single follows "In God's House", "Sunday Love", and "I Do" in previewing The Bride, Natasha Khan's upcoming Bat For Lashes album.
It's a hugely emotional offering with subdued beats and gently gliding synths; Khan's vocals cut through the instrumentation to tug hard at your heartstrings. In many ways its reminiscent of her staggering opus "Laura" - skeletal, affecting, and endlessly beautiful.
We recently caught Khan as she debuted material from the upcoming project at London's Union Chapel.
The Bride is released 1 July. It follows 2012's The Haunted Man.
