Bat For Lashes and TOY announce debut album as SEXWITCH
SEXWITCH, the new project from Bat For Lashes, TOY, and Dan Carey, has announced its debut LP, a new London show, and is streaming its first single.
SEXWITCH unveiled their existence over the weekend at Green Man Festival, following a prolonged social media tease, but now we've got the full details on their self-titled album.
It's set to feature six tracks, which are described as "covers of 1970s psych and folk songs from around the world". This isn't the first time this team have worked together - they collaborated in 2013 on a pre-revolution folk track from Iran titled "The Bride".
The group will headline London's XOYO on 29 September.
SEXWITCH is out 25 September via Echo/BMG. It was recorded live at Carey's London studio.
You can hear their first official single "Helelyos" on their website, or just below. The tracklist can be found after.
