We’ve already seen what’s on Barack Obama’s iPod, but now it appears that the U.S President was a big fan of the late Frankie Knuckles too.
As FACT point out, a letter has emerged online from Barack and Michelle Obama sending their condolences following the late house pioneer’s passing.
“Frankie’s work helped open minds and bring people together,” the letter reads. “He was a trailblazer in his field, and his legacy lives on in the city of Chicago and on dance floors across the globe.”
You can read the full letter below, with a picture of the President with his fellow Chicago native above.
