Banquet Records resume accepting orders from EU countries after getting "clarity" on Brexit
Kingston-based record store Banquet Records have announced that they'll be accepting orders from EU countries again after getting "clarity" on trading arrangements around Brexit.
Last month (16 December) Banquet Records revealed they were "temporarily pausing sales to Ireland and mainland Europe" due to the uncertainty around Brexit trading agreements.
MPs voted in favour of Boris Johnson's trade deal with the EU on 30 December, which has provided Banquet Records with the "clarity" they needed to resume accepting orders from EU countries.
In a statement posted on their socials this afternoon, Banquet Records wrote, "HAPPY NEU YEAR. Today we resume shipping to Europe."
Their statement read, "We're accepting orders from EU countries. With clarity around orders to Europe, we can now resume accepting orders from EU countries."
