BBC Sound of 2012 nominee and NME Cool List 2011 winner Azealia Banks has announced that her debut EP has been delayed.
The EP, entitled ’1991′, was set for release this week but this seems to no longer be the case.
The rapper took to Twitter to inform fans of the short-player being “delayed again” but also that it was “getting vamped”.
She also mentioned that she’s “switched management” for a whopping third time.
There is also a debut album in the works, set for sometime before the year’s end. Hopefully we’ll get to hear some new stuff soon before our iTunes play count of ’212′ reaches that very number.
Banks will be playing a flurry of live shows in the UK later this year, the dates follow:
September
28 – Manchester Club Academy
29 – Glasgow O2 ABC
October
1 – Newcastle O2 Academy
2 – Liverpool O2 Academy 2
3 – Leeds Met Uni
5 – Birmingham HMV Library
6 – Oxford O2 Academy
7 – Norwich Waterfront
9 – Cambridge Junction
10 – Brighton Concorde 2
12 – London O2 Shepherds Bush Empire
