The Line of Best Fit
Rising R&B star Auður drops his debut long player Alone tomorrow but you can listen right now via a rather unusual live stream.
The Icelandic performer filmed a visual version of his debut album in one take in a secluded room at an abandoned power plant on the outskirts of Reykjavík. The result are now being premiered and screened on an old TV at Harpa, the city’s world famous concert hall, as of midnight, running in a continuous loop for 24 hours, and so marking the beginning and end of Groundhog Day.
The visual album is directed by Brooklyn based Icelandic director Snorri Sturluson
Watch live on Facebook or YouTube.
AUÐUR’s debut album Alone is available straight after the visual album premiere on 3 February.
