Having distilled the distorted shoegaze atmospherics of their debut effort into smooth dream pop melodies for 2009’s third studio effort Hush, the New York duo Asobi Seksu have announced their fourth full-length album. Fluorescence will be released next February 14 via Polyvinyl Records and will be available digitally, on CD and on a special, limited pink vinyl edition of 1,500.
Having previously twisted glistening electronic pop together with grittier influences, eventually favouring the former the musical leanings of Fluorescence remain under wraps, but to peel back the corner and take a sneak peak you can download the lead single ‘Trails’ right now.
