A$AP Rocky charged with assault on female fan

Harlem rapper, A$AP Rocky has reportedly been arrested after slapping a female fan at Jay Z’s Made in America festival over the weekend.

Celeb gossip site, TMZ report that the incident occurred during the hip-hop star’s set on Saturday night at the Philadelphia event. Pitchfork note that the alleged attack took place when Rocky entered the crowd mid-set, with the rapper landing a “open-hand slap” to the face of an unnamed spectator.

A similar incident occurred in Sydney back in July, but no arrests were made. A$AP’s camp were not willing to comment on TMZ‘s allegations at the time of publishing.
