Arlo Parks, Cate Le Bon, Berwyn and more to perform at Welsh digital event Gŵyl 2021
Four Welsh festivals have combined for a new digital event called Gŵyl 2021, which will feature performances from Arlo Parks, Cate Le Bon, Berwyn and many more.
Gŵyl 2021 has been launched in response to the coronavirus pandemic, which has put live events on hold for the best part of a year.
The digital Welsh event was created by Festival of Voice , FOCUS Wales, Other Voices Cardigan and Aberystwyth Comedy Festival in collaboration with BBC Cymru Wales, and will be broadcast as part of the BBC’s Culture in Quarantine initiative next month.
The lineup for the digital event features the likes of Arlo Parks, Cate Le Bon, Berwyn, Adwaith, Gruff Rhys, Islet, Kidsmoke, Sinead O'Brien, Sprints, Tim Burgess' Listening Party and many more.
Gŵyl 2021 will also include a special one-off performance from Suede’s Brett Anderson, Charles Hazlewood and Paraorchestra, featuring special guest Nadine Shah.
