Are The Rolling Stones teasing a new collaboration with The War On Drugs?

It seems that The Rolling Stones are teasing a new release with The War On Drugs for this Friday (14 August).

Last night (10 August), The Rolling Stones confirmed that they're releasing something with The War On Drugs on Friday (14 August).

It's not entirely clear what the release will be, but as The Rolling Stones are reissuing their Goat's Head Soup album next month, it could potentially be one of the three previously unreleased songs that will feature on the reissue.

They already released one of those tracks, "Scarlet", last week, which features Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page, and saw Normal People's Paul Mescal star in the visual.

It could also be a new version of "Scarlet" with contributions from The War On Drugs, or maybe even a cover.

Both The Rolling Stones and The War On Drugs are yet to confirm what the release is, but it arrives on Friday (14 August).
