Arctic Monkeys & Katy Perry to perform at BRIT Awards 2014
Both Arctic Monkeys and Katy Perry have been confirmed to perform live at next year’s BRIT Awards.
The ceremony, celebrating the best in British and international music, will be held on 19 February at London’s O2 Arena, broadcast live by ITV.
“The BRITs has always showcased the music that I love and am influenced by. It’s an honour to play at such a prestigious event where musicality shines at its brightest,” Perry said of the news.
Meanwhile, the 2014 BRITs statuette will be designed by hat-maker and designer Philip Treacy, while the event will be hosted once again by James Corden, making it his fifth and final year of doing so.
