Needing some time out from recording the new Arcade Fire album, frontman Win Butler will join The Rolling Stones on stage this weekend at their show in Montreal.
The Canadian musician will team up with Jagger and co on Sunday’s leg of their 50 and Counting tour, a stretch which has already seen the likes of Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and Tom Waits perform with the band. The news was confirmed earlier via The Rolling Stones’ Twitter page.
James Murphy recently discussed his involvement in Arcade Fire’s widely-expected new album, which you can read about here.
