Arcade Fire to release new single on 9 September?
Arcade Fire have already revealed that their new album will drop in October, but now it looks like we might be getting a taster next month.
The Canadian indie troupe confirmed the LP – rumoured to be called Reflektor – on 29 October, but now – as Pitchfork note – hints are being given that something will occur at 9pm on 9 September.
A mysterious Reflektor Instagram account has been posting photos and video clips, now unveiled ones that suggest the aforementioned reveal date.
And, as we previously reported, this links in with prior claims that new music from the group is coming on that date. Revolt.tv, the media network owned by Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, revealed back in June that a source close to the band gave the date of 9 September as when we’re likely to hear new music from the band.
The record will be the Montreal group’s fourth to date.
