Arcade Fire, Fiona Apple, Adele and Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ Karen O are among the longlist for the 2013 Oscars ‘Best Original Song’ award.
Arcade Fire contributed a track to the Hunger Games movie, Fiona Apple featured in This Is 40, Karen O soundtracked Disney film Frankenweenie, while Adele (pictured above with her many Grammy Awards) wrote the latest Bond theme.
The 75-strong list announced also features the likes of Rick Ross, The Black Keys, John Legend, Mumford & Sons, Katy Perry and Norah Jones.
The shortlist of nominees will be announced on 10 January, with the Oscars ceremony taking place on 24 February.
