Arcade Fire, Drake, Mac DeMarco & more shortlisted for Canada's Polaris Prize 2014
Canada’s Polaris Prize have unveiled the shortlist for this year’s award.
The annual accolade heralds the best album released each year by a Canadian-born or based artist. Among the shortlist this time round are Arcade Fire, Drake, Mac DeMarco, Owen Pallett, Jessy Lanza, Timber Timbre and others.
The likes of Austra, Chromeo, Tim Hecker, Chad VanGaalen and more missed out on nominations.
The winner will be announced at a ceremony on 22 September. Check out the list in full below:
