Following some rather confusing rumours earlier this week, Spain’s Primavera Sound Festival have now confirmed that Arcade Fire will indeed headline next year’s event.
The Barcelona fest will take place between 29-31 May at the city’s Parc del Fòrum. But while the Canadian band have been announced, it looks like the supposed David Bowie leak was actually a cruel hoax.
Meanwhile, Neutral Milk Hotel will also join the Primavera bill, as well as playing its sister fest Optimus Primavera Sound in Porto, which will run from 5-7 June.
