Apple‘s long-expected music-streaming service could debut next week, after a series of delays.
According to the New York Times, the tech giants are set to launch what is expected to be called either the ‘iRadio’ or ‘iStream’ over the next seven days. The company have signed deals with Warner and Universal and are now trying to tie up licensing deals with Sony.
Previously they had pushed the due date back while trying to secure lower royalty costs. Following rival Spotify’s aim to reduce their own royalty payments, Apple were pushing for lower payments per 100 streams.
