Apple patent “offline downloading” function

Technology giants, Apple have reportedly been granted a patent for a new offline downloading function.
Tech website 9 to 5 Mac report that the patent was approved on Tuesday (9 April), which “will allow you to buy some music and other iTunes content even when offline”.
The function would all “pre-downloading” of new releases, with credits stored on the Apple database for when the user returns online.
It’s not yet known when this service will be launched. But until then, some designs from the filed patent can be seen below:
