Aphex Twin blimp appears over London, hints at return
Over the weekend, a blimp was reportedly sighted in London bearing the logo of Aphex Twin, leading to speculation of new material from the electronic producer.
Richard D. James released his last official LP Drukqs in 2001, but a series of previously-unreleased records surfaced online earlier this year.
Now, the Aphex blimp - which featured the number “2014” written on it - was seen above Oval Space in East London on Saturday, while stencils have been found elsewhere in New York too.
In 2010, James confirmed that there’s “around six” albums that he’s been working on. Whether or not this hints at a release of one of those is not yet known.

Just spoke to the guy at the Aphex Twin blimp, he was super shady and wouldn’t tell me anything, but said “it’s gonna be good”
