Aphex Twin announces new album SYRO

Yes, it’s really happening. Following speculation over the weekend, Aphex Twin has now announced a new LP.
A blimp featuring the Aphex logo was spotted over London on Saturday, now confirmed to be promoting Richard D. James’ first record since 2001.
SYRO is the follow-up to Drukqs and was announced via deep web browser Tor. No release date has yet been given but it’s expected later this year.
