Norwegian electro-popper Annie returned with her comeback EP A&R last year, one of our favourite short-players of 2013. Now, she’ll follow it up with a multimedia project with visual artist Bjarne Melgaard.
The pair will team up for a new track and short film, both entitled “Russian Kiss”. Both song and short will be released on Friday (7 February) to mark the opening of the winter Olympics in Russia.
The track is intended as a protest against Russia’s well-documented anti-Gay Rights laws and their treatment of LGBT activists.
