Animal Collective reveal new album art

Animal Collective has unveiled what seems to be the cover art of forthcoming album Centipede Hz.

They posted the above picture of the sleeve to Facebook late last night to, well, mixed reviews to say the least.

Let’s admit it: compared to Merriweather Post Pavilion’s mind-bending sleeve art, it’s pretty damn hideous.

And we thought Muse had got caught up in their own warped fantasies… one can only hope this is a joke.

Animal Collective release Centipede Hz via Domino on 3 September.
