Angel Haze and Iggy Azalea cover 'Otis' at London gig
Angel Haze packed out London’s Scala last night for her postponed and rescheduled headline show, marking the occasion with a live team-up with Aussie rapper Iggy Azalea.
The two leading females in hip-hop came together to “show the world that girls are the ones running it” and, in what could perhaps be seen as a dig at Azealia Banks, that “females shouldn’t be pit against one another”.
The pair’s cover of Jay-Z and Kanye’s Watch The Throne track ‘Otis’ brought the curtains down on an all-round personal and intimate set from Angel Haze, in which the rapper performed the scathing ‘Cleaning Out My Closet’ for the first time ever to a momentarily silenced crowd.
