U.S. TV network CBS have confirmed they’ve commissioned a new sitcom entitled Smells Like Teen Spirit.
The Nirvana-inspired show is set to be created by The Big Bang Theory writer Dave Goetsch and could air as early as next year.
The premise of the show has been described by Hollywood Reporter as follows:
A multicamera comedy revolves around an 18-year-old budding entrepreneur who forgoes Harvard and instead opts to launch a multibillion-dollar Internet company from his garage with the assistance of his sister, best friend and his 1990s indie-rock parents.
It better be big to help pay off the royalties spent on the use of that name.
