American Football announce second record 17 years on from their debut
American Football have announced their self-titled second album and shared lead single "I've Been So Lost For So Long".
The album comes 17 years after their 1999 debut album (also self titled), and will be released 21 October via Wichita.
Steve Holmes, Mike and Nate Kinsella, and Steve Lamos recorded American Football at ARC Studios in Omaha and SHIRK Studios in Chicago earlier in 2016, with production from the band and Jason Cupp.
American Football re-appeared after 15 years away for a series of live dates in 2014 to huge applause and sold-out crowds across the world - read out interview Mike Kinsella about their return.
To go with the record, American Football have also announced a series of four release shows: three in the US and one in London. Tickets will be on sale 26 August, with pre-sale bundles available from tomorrow.
