Ama Lou bounces back with first single of the year "NORTHSIDE"
London's Ama Lou, championed by Drake, has returned with her first new single of 2019, "NORTHSIDE".
"NORTHSIDE" is Ama Lou's first new single since last year's debut EP DDD.
The new track arrives with a self-directed visual starring Odd Future’s Taco, A$AP Nast, and model Fai Khadra.
Speaking to i-D about the new song, Ama Lou explained, "I wrote the song after experiencing a personal homecoming last year. I travel a lot and live bicoastal so spending a lot of time living in LA I felt a little out of place coming back to the UK, but that feeling was quickly overrun by the satisfying feeling of knowing that I’m from North London, this is my town and it always will be."
